MAUC Community Room

Historic buildings tell a story of time, place, and community values.

Home to several non-profit community-based organizations serving San Antonio and Bexar County.

Built in 1911 and used as the David Crockett Elementary School until 1967. The building remained vacant until 1975. In 2013, MAUC Center was designated as a City of San Antonio Local Historic Landmark.

Historic buildings tell a story of time, place, and community values. Its positive Westside Community impact could not be lost! MAUC has created a new chapter by restoring it to its former glory and breathing life into this great historic building.

Today, MAUC Center is home to other non-profit community-based organizations serving San Antonio and Bexar County. We’re located in the heart of the Westside and have been admired as a beacon of hope to all who enter.

Our community room and beautifully landscaped courtyards are often utilized to host community meetings, informational classes, and special events.  Come, be part of its rebirth!
