Job Summary:


This individual is responsible for providing comprehensive individual counseling services to prospective homebuyers and existing homeowners, with sessions covering a broad array of areas related to housing.


 

Duties & Responsibilities:


  1. Assist housing staff and assist COO with marketing/outreach and special projects as deemed necessary to achieve overall goals and successful operation of housing program.
  2. Main responsibility is to assess obstacles faced in pursuing and retaining homeownership, and develop corrective action plans, utilizing tools related to budgeting, debt reduction, credit counseling and rebuilding, and the coordination and implementation of homebuyer education and post purchase classes.
  3. Ability to work effectively in both individual and group settings.
  4. Familiarity with general underwriting guidelines/affordable lending programs.
  5. Provides supportive outreach to active clients.
  6. Works with collaborative agencies and contracted personnel.
  7. Provides advocacy for MHC program clients with information, assistance with applications and referrals.
  8. Will be responsible for keeping data entry, accurate records, documentation of attendance rates and ensure quality control measures are followed.
  9. Collaborate with intake centers and legal assistance departments along with funding agencies to meet program requirements.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:


This individual is responsible for teaching and monitoring classes for all Family Strengthening Programs (FSP), aid in the recruitment of clients and monitor Facilitator’s and program’s progress towards reaching attendance goals.


 

Duties & Responsibilities:


  1. Provides support and assistance to all program Facilitators including Co-Facilitators, interns, and volunteers.
  2. Responsible for teaching FSP classes.
  3. Responsible for working with youth and teaching established curriculum.
  4. Responsible for working with children and teaching established curriculum.
  5. Provides supportive outreach to active clients.
  6. Works with collaborative agencies and contracted personnel.
  7. Provides advocacy for FSP program clients with information, assistance with applications and referrals.
  8. Will be responsible for keeping accurate records and documentation of attendance rates
  9. Provides social services at other locations and MAUC center.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.
