Mexican American Unity Council Inc. (MAUC)
recently broke ground on its latest tax-credit
multifamily development. Stonehouse Apartments
will be a 248-unit development located at 4950
Woodstone Drive on the city’s Northwest Side.
Residents who qualify to live here will have
plenty of options to choose from; the project
will include 10 two- and three- story,
garden-style buildings. Five different floor
plans will be offered; Stonehouse will also
include a full-service clubhouse, a swimming
pool and an office facility.
The project is being financed by the San
Antonio Housing Finance Corp./Multifamily
Housing Review Board. The Texas Department of
Housing and Community Affairs is providing the
tax credits. MAUC will serve as the sole general
managing partner for SAVJ Woodstone LP, which
will have 100 percent ownership in Stonehouse.
Other partners on the project include GMAT II
Developers, MMA Financial LLC, Chiles Architects
and Galaxy Builders.
